Pai Plong sits within a national park boundary, with no foot traffic, clear water, and a proper swimming beach that day-trippers cannot reach.
Full-service resort: multiple pools, a spa, beachfront dining, and villa accommodation. From around ฿3,990/night for a deluxe room; the clifftop villas are considerably more. The free shuttle runs throughout the day and takes about five minutes each way.

A note on Ao Nang 5-stars
Several properties in Ao Nang carry a five-star label — including the Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa and the Avani Ao Nang Cliff. Both are good hotels with strong facilities and high ratings.
