Thursday evening local market

A weekly street market near Ao Nang that runs every Thursday evening, drawing a local crowd alongside tourists. Street food stalls sell pad thai, grilled skewers, fresh fruit, mango sticky rice and Thai sweets at Thai prices — expect to eat well for ฿100–150. Clothing, trinkets and handcraft stalls fill the rest of the space. Less polished than the main Ao Nang strip markets and the better for it; fewer tourist menus, more genuine local product. Opens around 5pm, winds down by 9pm.
