A short but steep hike on the Railay peninsula to a hidden saltwater lagoon surrounded by sheer limestone cliffs. The trail starts near Railay East and climbs ropes and rocks for about 20–30 minutes before dropping into the lagoon — timing it with a rising tide gives you the best swimming. It's genuinely physical: wear shoes with grip, bring water, and go in the cooler morning hours. The payoff is a cave-enclosed pool you'll almost certainly have to yourself outside of peak hours. No entry fee; you just need to get to Railay first (longtail from Ao Nang, ฿100 per person each way).

Highlights

Hidden saltwater lagoon enclosed by limestone cliffs
Rope-climb descent through a cave opening
Best swimming at rising tide
Almost always quiet outside peak hours
