The mainland trailhead and fee checkpoint for the Khao Hong Nak viewpoint hike within the Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park boundary in Nong Thale, Krabi — not on the Phi Phi Islands themselves. The hike from this checkpoint climbs through jungle to a hilltop viewpoint over the mangrove-edged coast and inland karst landscape of Krabi Province. Foreigners pay ฿200 at the gate.
