Ao Tha Lane View Point

A scenic overlook above Ao Thalane Bay, around 20 km north of Krabi Town, with views over mangrove-lined inlets and limestone karst formations inland from the coast. Most visitors combine the viewpoint with kayaking at Ao Thalane below — the mangrove network here is one of the calmer, less commercialised kayaking spots in Krabi. Free to access by car or motorbike; no public songthaew reaches this far north. Best in the morning before the light shifts onto the opposite hill.
